Class is on Saturday, May 9th from 2-4pm at Sycamore Station, 1900 Dutch Oven Rd, Salem, VA 24153
In this class, we will discuss how to care for worms and use their castings in your garden or houseplants. Then we will make your very own worm bin to take home! This class is kid friendly with a paying adult. We will be outside, weather permitting.
Payment for the class includes instructions and
-a Rubbermaid type tote to keep your worms and castings in.
-red wiggler worms
-all the ingredients needed in the bin for your worms to get started!
Worms require food once or twice a week in the form of veggie scraps, eggshells, etc. but overall, a low maintenance pet that gives some of the best all natural fertilizers for your outside and indoor plants! Come ready to learn all about worms and get your hands dirty! Pre-registration is required.
